When you shop at or donate clothing, furniture, appliances, antiques or your used car to The Love of Jesus Thrift Store, you will be truly “changing lives and making life changers.” All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of the proceeds go to support the outreach ministries of The Richmond Outreach Center (The ROC)!
The Richmond Outreach Center is a non profit 501 C(3) organization focusing on changing the lives of the broken, oppressed and under served individuals. Every day we offer hope to at -risk individuals living in the neighborhoods impacted byth the drugs, gangs and violence that plagues our city every day.
Some of The ROC’s ministries include:
- After School Program for Richmond Youth
- Discipleship Homes for men and women addicted to drugs & alcohol
- Computer classes for adults and children
- Food Ministry, giving away 1,500 bags of food a month
- Baseball and basketball teams for children
- ESL and Adult Literacy Classes
- Adopt-A-Block Ministry
- Health Clinic for low-income and uninsured residents
